Rang (ৰং) is an Assamese language general entertainment television channel owned by Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. of Guwahati, Assam. It is a sister channel of popular Assamese news channel News Live. Rang is an Assamese language general entertainment television channel owned by Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. of Guwahati. Prise East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. is the largest electronic media group in northeastern part of India, run by a very young energetic and dedicated team, led by Chairperson Mrs. Riniki Bhuyan Sarma. It was started in the year 2008 with its news channel NEWSLIVE and gradually extending its horizon not only in the northeastern part of India but across the length and breadth of the country. At present Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. comprises of four channel sand its recent venture in the print media with one regional paper titled NIYAMIYA BARTA.
